Minimum number of digit 3 required be $a$ And minimum no. Of continuos functions required be $b$ . To operate them in such a way that the answer will be $2$ . Note : Only number ' $3$ ' can be used . Eg . $3- sgn(3)$ =2 Here $-$ and signum functions are used. But in orignal function should be continuos. Its original. Ans should be $a+b$

The answer is 4.

$\log_\sqrt{3} 3= 2$ Here two functions are used root and log. And two 3's. Hence $a+b=\boxed{4}$
