(1.234×5678)-(5.678×234)

=(1234×5.678)-(234×5.678)

=5.678×(1234-234)

=5.678×1000

=5678

so, answer is 5678.

1.234 * 5678 - 5.678 * 234 --> 1234 * 5678/1000 - 5678 * 234/1000 (converting decimal to fractions)

now, factor out 5678/1000:
(5678/1000)(1234-234) = (5678/1000)(1000)

cancel the 1000/1000, and you are left with 5678.
