If you observe carefully, every number in the circle is the square of the total of all numbers surrounding it. Let the number that should replace ? ? be x x .

100 = ( 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 ) 2 = 1 0 2 = 100 100 = (1 + 2 + 3 + 4)^2 = 10^2 = 100

225 = ( 2 + 3 + 5 + 5 ) 2 = 1 5 2 = 225 225 = (2 + 3 + 5 + 5)^2 = 15^2 = 225

484 = ( 6 + 4 + 5 + x ) 2 484 = (6 + 4 + 5 + x)^2

( 15 + x ) 2 = 2 2 2 \implies (15 + x)^2 = 22^2

x = 22 15 = 7 \implies x = 22 - 15 = {\color{#3D99F6}7}
