Nth term of a ap series is a+(n-1)d Where a is the 1st term and d is the difference

Here, a+(n-1)d=1/m and a+(m-1)d=1/n From these two equations d=1/mn And a=1/mn

Now mnth term is a+(mn-1)d =1/mn +(mn-1)/mn = 1

Well, i used common sense. Put specific values (small ones) for m and n. Checking twice (or thrice) reveals that mnth term is independent of values chosen by us :-)
