To find the mass of one [X] atom= (atomic mass of X)/6.022 x 10^23 Example: mass of one U-238 tom = 238 g/ 6.022 x 10^23 =3.95 x 10^-22 g mass of one C atom = 12.01 g / 6.022 x 10^23 = 1.994 x 10^-23 g

238.05078826 × \times 1.67377 × 1 0 24 3.98 × 1 0 22 g \times 10^{-24} \approx 3.98 \times 10^{-22}~g
