Jane gave three-fifths of the amount of money she had to Jack. Jane now has $200. How many dollars did she give to Jack?

Consider that, first Jane was x dollar. After Jane gave 3/5 to Jack, now she has (1-3/5)=2/5 of x dollar.

Now, (2x)/5=200, so x=500

So Jane gave to the Jack is=(3/5)*500=300
