Actually you could give the owner 50+10+5 and he gives you back 2. That still work as both parties do not use $1 note.

This is wrong! You require minimum 6 notes and not 7. 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 5 + 50 = 63 Better cross check your anwer with a suitable explanation. Best of luck!

its simple, just need 6 notes of 3 types... 2+2+2+2+5+50=63.
