Monty Hall Problem

You are on a game show with three doors to choose from. Two have a zigzagoon behind it but the third one has a billion rupees behind it. You choose a door and the game show host unveils one of the two doors you didn't choose that has a zigzagoon behind it. He then offers you to swap doors. If you really want the billion rupees, what is the wisest course of action?

3 solutions

Not Swapping -

P(cash) = 1/3 , P(zigzagoon) = 2/3

On Swapping (Probability swaps)-

P(cash) = 2/3 , P(zigzagoon) = 1/3

So swapping is obvious option

if the billion was for you you will gain it . it`s a matter of fate

There is originally 1/3 chance that you pick the right door. The fact that the host has shown you the zigzagoon doesn't change the fact that the probability of the billion rupees being behind one of the other two doors is 2/3. Therefore you should change.

If I choose 2 doors, the probability is obviously greater than 1 door.

First I choose two doors and say the one left. When I am shown a zigzagoon, I then swap the door...

I'd rather take the zigzagoon. It's much cuter. XD
