| 2x - 6 | < n can be simplified to 3 - n 2 \frac{n}{2} < x < 3 + n 2 \frac{n}{2} . Therefore ? a \boxed{?a} = 3 and ? b \boxed{?b} = 2. 3 + 2 = 5 \boxed{5}
