4a+6b=1.56 9a+7b=2.60 13a+13b=4.16 13(a+b)=4.16 4.16/13=0.32

cost of apple = a and banana = b 4a + 6b = 1.56 9a + 7b = 2.60

solving this equation system, we get:

a = 0.18 and b = 0.14

therefore the answer is 0.18 + 0.14 = 0.32
