The power set is the set of all subsets of a set. The set of all subsets of the null set is well, the set that includes the null set, or { ∅ } because the null set is a subset of itself. The power set is NOT the empty set; rather, it's a set containing the empty set as an element. Since a class is a set of sets, P ( ∅ ) is a class.
