To simplify things, let's number the boxes from 1-9, with one being the 2, nine being the 48, counting left to right. The best way to start is solve all rows or columns with two given values. Immediately, with simple algebra, we can tell that Box 2 = 2, Box 6 = 12, and Box 7 = 8. With these numbers, we can solve the whole box, finding that Box 5 = 3 and Box 8 = 6. The sum of these values is 31.

we can also solve by putting 2+2+8+8+6=26 or 2+4+16+16=3=41

2×2=4. 4×3=12. 12×4=48. 2+3+12+12+2=31

2+3+12+12+4 = 33. Why 31 ?

because the numers are : 2, 3 , 12, 8 and 6 ; 2+3+12+8+6 =31

2x2=4 4x3=12 2x3=6 4x12=48 8x6=48 (:
