3 solutions

6 3 2 = ( 62 + 1 ) 2 = 6 2 2 + 2 ( 62 ) + 1 = 3844 + 124 + 1 = 3969 \begin{aligned} 63^2 & = (62+1)^2 \\ & = 62^2+2(62)+1 \\ & = 3844 + 124 + 1 \\ & = \boxed{3969} \end{aligned}

I just know that this equals to 81(49) which is extremely convinient, 80(50)

The difference Between the ( n - 1) st square and the nth square is the nth odd number. So 63 ^ 2 = 3844 + 125 = 3969

For integers x , x, x 2 = ( x 1 ) 2 + x + ( x 1 ) x^2= (x-1)^2+x+(x-1) 6 3 2 = 6 2 2 + 63 + 62 \therefore 63^2 = 62^2+63+62 = 3844 + 63 + 62 = 3969 = 3844+63+62 = \boxed{3969}
