A MAN HAD 17 HORSES.. HE HAD THREE SONS HE DECIDED TO GIVE 1/2 TO HIS 1ST SON... 1/3 TO HIS SECOND SON AND 1/9TH TO HIS THIRD SON. CAN YOU GUESS HOW MANY HORSES HE GAVE TO HIS FIRST SON???

a cleaver man added his one horse and so the 1st son got 9 horses, 2nd got 6 and the third got 2 horses so total is 17 and the man took his one left horse!!! ans is 9
