How on earth did you spot it!
But reflecting the symbol across a horizontal axis (which supposedly gives the same image as rotation) yields 'w' as the answer.

I actually did put in "w" as the answer, only to be told that it has to be an integer. So, elimination, you know?

Ha, this one is definitely a "just for fun" puzzle. Glad you were able to figure out what was intended :)
Darn! I was thinking w too. (into weights and tonnes :-D)
Never thought it would be 3..
What does it mean by "w" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ohhhh... I got the first part where 1 metre is 1000 mm but got stuck later haha...
After typing w and it said 'wrong', I typed randomly 1 and 1 0 then 1 0 0 but the answer is 3 !! Tricky but funny quiz.
↗ = 1 0 0 0 1 . Vertically flipping ↗ gives ↘ = 1 1 0 0 0 . Why isn't 1000 right? It's a cool problem and the riddle hints at ↗ being m, which I went to, but just saying it's kinda arbitrary.
That is right.
Arrow = x (don't know how to format that to here)
1 x = 1 0 0 0 x x
1 = 1 0 0 0 x
x = 1 / 1 0 0 0
Inverting it, we get 1000.
Therefore, the answer is 1000!

i too wrote the answer 1000 and got wrong by the same logic ! btw how the answer came to 3 plz explain ??
it is a word puzzle... 1m = 1000mm, so up-right arrow = "m". down-right arrow is a 90 degree rotation of up-right arrow, so "m" rotated 90 degrees is 3 .

1 m=1000 mm, and m rotated clockwise 90 degrees is 3.
