1 c y c l o b u t y l 1-cyclobutyl p e n t a n e pentane is the correct IUPAC name of the compound because the cyclic part of the compund has 4 4 carbons while the chain part has 5 5 carbons.

According to IUPAC rules for nomenclature, the longest carbon chain has to be selected. Hence the answer.
