  • 485 is more than 360 degree, so it is rotated one round, we need to subtract a whole circle from it : 485-360; then we are left with 125 degrees. 125 degrees is more than 90 but less than 180. Thus, we can calculate the reference angle (the angle between the line and the x-axis) by 180-125 = 55.
