Nature of wave

The above two graphs show waves A A and B B with the same period, at a particular instant, propagating to the right. Which of the following statements is correct?

a) The frequency of wave A A is greater than that of wave B . B.

b) The wavelength of wave A A is smaller than that of wave B . B.

c) The propagation speed of wave A A is greater than that of wave B . B.

none of them b) only a) only c) only

both option (A) & (B) is correct wave length is small and frequency is greter if speed of wave is taken constant

bt at given condition time period same mean T same so f also same or constant so option (A) is wrong .... (speed=frequency*wavelength) so f =constant then (speed directly propotional to wavelength ) ...........greater wavelength greter speed so B wave has greater wave and greater speed than wave A... option (C) is wrong just option B is correct

so please do modify the choices...

Distance traveled by wave-A is clearly smaller than that of wave-B for equal period

Thus the wave length of wave-A is smaller than that of wave-B

i think, A is a correct answer too,, since frequency mean total wave/ total time

that make F = total wave A / X X = total time F = 6/X

in wave B F = total wave B / x F= 4/x

that will make, frequency A greater than frequency B
