(94-2)(94+2)= 9 4 2 94^2 - 2 2 2^2 ( a b ) ( a + b ) = a 2 b 2 \small~~{(a-b)(a+b)=a^2-b^2} = 8836 4 = 8832 =8836-4=\Large 8832 For calculating 9 4 2 94^2 decrease 94 by as much as it is less from 100(i.e subtract 6) and then attach to it square of that subtracted number. 1. 96- 4 4 =88, 2. 9 4 2 94^2 =88 36 36

I didn't think that can be calculated this way. Nice solution.

100 92 = 8 100-92=8 ..... ( 1 ) (1)
100 96 = 4 100-96=4 ..... ( 2 ) (2)

Multiplying ( 1 ) (1) and ( 2 ) (2) .
Therefore, last two digits 32 . \boxed{32}.

Now, first two digits 92 4 = 96 8 = 88 . 92-4=96-8=\boxed{88}.

92 × 96 = 8832 . \therefore 92×96=\boxed{8832}.

a×b = x

100-(a+b) = y

(100-a)×(100-b) = "x"+"y"

92×96 = (100-8)×(100-4)

a = 8

b = 4

x = 100-(8+4) = 88

y = 8×4 = 32

92×96 = "x"+"y" = 8832
