The answer is $62.4. Since Nigel earned $26 in 5 days, you have to divide 26 by 5. Which comes out to 5.2. Finally times 5.2 by 12, and you'll have your answer (62.4).

D=days A=amount

a of 5d / 5d= a from 1d * 12d= a of 12d

$26 / 5d= $5.20 * 12= $62.40

It is given that,

5 Days = 26 dollars

thus,

12 days = 12 * 26 / 5

12 days = 62.4 dollars.

Hey yo,

as for this , let x = number of days , y = $ gained,

by comparing them(as we wanna to get $),

x : y = 5 : 26

x / y = 5 / 26

y = 26x / 5

as x = 12,

y = 26(12) / 5 = $62.4

thanks...
