According to the first two statements, Cliff is the oldest. Then, how can Eric who's the youngest be older than Cliff? Definitely, the the third statement is false.

Here is the first two statements:

C l i f f > T a n y a > E r i c Cliff>Tanya>Eric

It shows that C l i f f Cliff is older than E r i c Eric , therefore the third statement is false.

Because the first two statements are true, Eric is the youngest of the three, so the third statement must be false.
