Noman's logic

Algebra Level 2

Noman is a guard in the bridge near a prizon. A man numbered PA12665 escapes from his cell. But he wants to cross that bridge to escape. Noman says that "If you need to cross this you must answer my Yes/No question correctly. If you say the wrong option you'll be thrown into the hellish rocks below that bridge". Below the bridge are all wild beast which gets foods only from such escaped cell mates.

Here's what Noman asked, "An AP consist of no negative terms, yet, sum of my first 10 terms is 0. Is this possible? (Yes or No)" . What would the cell mate answer to escape the bridge?

The only restriction is that there are no negative terms - it is not mentioned that the common difference in nonzero. So we can make the common difference zero so that all the terms are zero, which is in fact, neither positive nor negative. This would satisfy the given restriction.
