There are 300 hundred stalls to choose from. Going to one stall takes 5 minutes. Pauline arrives at midday, and the stalls close at 4:30. How many stalls can she visit?

12:00 to 04:30 i.e Four and half hours (270 minutes) Stalls she can visit = 270/5 = 54 .

My brain counts differently ;D

12:00 to 4:30=270 minutes Then 270/5 And we hv the answer

How I counted: 60 : 5 = 12. 12 * 4 = 48. 30 : 5 = 6. 48 + 6 = 54!

Hello,

available time 1200 to1630, 1630-1200 = 0430 = (4x60) + 30 = 270 mins....

Hence, number of visited stall = 270 / 5 = 54....
