first add 6 to 154 and we will get the quotient 154+6=160 then multiply it by 5 160*5=800 and that's the number!

let the number be x therefore from the given information,(x/5)-154=6 After solving x-770=30 therefore x=770+30 So, X=800

Add 154+6=160 , then multiply 160 by 5 i.e 160*5=800

let number is x. then according to question, quotient=x/5; quotient-154=6 or, x/5 -154=6 or, x/5 =160 or, x=5*160 so, x=800. so,required number is 800.

Take the no. thought to be 'x'. x divided by 5 is x/5. Now, to subtract 154 from the quotient i.e x/5. you have to take out the lcm of x/5 and 154. Now x/5 - 770/5 =6. Equate this and you get the ans. 800.

let the no. be 'x'.subtract 154 from x\5 and simplify. you will get the answer!!!!!!!!!!!!
