Anna and Thamma stand at each end of a straight line segment.Anna sends 30 ants towards Thamma, one after another.Thamma sends 60 ants towards Anna.All ants travel along the straight line segment.Whenever two ants collide,they simply bounce back and start travelling in the opposite direction.

How many ants reach Anna?


The answer is 60.

Given that when 2 ants collide, they bounce back, we can pretend that they go through each other. Hence, the answer is 60.

solution:you first try with 2 ants coming from anna towards thamma and 4 ants coming from thamma towards anna.Same way again try with 3 ants coming from anna towards thamma and 6 ants coming from thamma towards anna.You will soon get the pattern.
