First, you add 1+3+5+7+9, and you get 25. Then you divide 25 by the number of numbers, which in this case is 5, and you get your answer as 5. The correct answer is 5.

(1+3+5+7+9)/(5) divide it by five because five is the number of values

it is simple .. the mean of odd nos is no of odd nos considered from 1

Just check for the middle n# and it will be your mean

This method does not work. It will give the correct answer, yes but this is how you find the median not the mean. The mean is defined as the Sum of all the terms divided by the number of terms.
