Logic Level 3

Imagine bob is running a race and has 2 flags. One is red, one is blue. At half of the race, he will hold up a red flag. At half of half of the race, he will hold up a blue flag. At half of half of half of the race, he will hold up a red flag and so on. At the end of the race, will he hold up the red or the blue flag?

Technically, Bob will never reach the end of the race - you just keep on halving and halving and halving...

To put it into Math's perspective, just imagine 1 ÷ 2 = x 1\div 2 = x , then x ÷ 2 = y x\div 2=y , then y ÷ 2 = n y\div 2=n ...and so on --- you will never get to 0 0 ; or the end of the race.

He runs through every section oof the race at an increasing speed so he will.
