Three friends A,B,C are sitting on the boundary of a circular park at equal distance and talking to each other through a toy telephone. The circular park has diametric length equal to 40 meters. Find the length of the string of each phone if each friend has a toy telephone.

Note- estimate your answer to the nearest whole number

If A,B,C are sitting at equal distance,then they will form an equilateral triangle. And the radius of the circle is 40/2=20. Now the height of the triangle is (root3/2) a (when 'a' is the length of the side of the triangle). Also the height of the triangle is (3/2) 20=30 So, (root3/2)*a=30 a=60/root3 a=34.64 or the approx value is 35.
