Ethene and Benzene are not even in the league as their acidic character is way lesser than that of water and methanol. Now the doubt arises between water and methanol. The correct answer is methanol.
R e a s o n : Comparing methoxide and hydroxide ions, O is attached to a CH3 group in one and H in the other. CH3 allows greater surface area for the minus charge to be accommodated than H. Hence methoxide ion is more acidic than hydroxide ion and hence methanol is more acidic than water !!!!!
