3 4 = 0.75 0.83 86 100 = 0.86 0.79 \dfrac{3}{4} = 0.75\\ 0.83\\ \dfrac{86}{100} = 0.86\\ 0.79

Arrange them in descending order:

0.86 , 0.83. 0.79. 0.75 0.86,\;0.83.\;0.79.\;0.75

We want the largest and smallest number. They are:

0.86 0.86 and 0.75 0.75 or

86 100 and 3 4 \boxed{\dfrac{86}{100} \text{ and } \dfrac{3}{4}}

Ordering them is easy, just convert then all into hundredths.

its that simple
