Chemistry Level 2

Which of the following is always true about resonance hybrids?

Basicity decreases and stability of carbanion ion increases None of these choices Basicity increases and stability of carbanion ion decreases Basicity increases as well as stability of carbanion ion increases

Resonace is a process of shifting of pie bonds so as to attain more stability. More the number of resonace hybrids more stable the molecule/compound. So stability increases.

A respective molecule will thus not tend to lose H^+ ions. So acidic character will decrease and basic character will increase and thus bascitity will decrease

The acidic character will increase, and basic character will decrease. By analyzing the conjugate base of a strong acid, we see that if it is resonance stabilized, the base is more stable (basicity decreases).

Could you plz tell me how ressonance happen and how it turn the substance more acid,i know just one explication to organic substances become more acid and that is the inductive effect
