Two poles are positioned with a rope hanging from the top of one to the top of the other. The poles are 5 feet tall, and the rope dangles 3 feet above the ground. The rope is 4 feet long, how far apart are the poles?

The part of the rope closest to the ground is 2 feet away from the top of the poles. The rope is only four feet long, meaning it has to fold completely in half for the bottom to reach 2 feet from the top of the poles. For it to be folded in half, the poles must be 0 feet apart.
