On a remote island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, 100 pandas are kept prisoner by a mad scientist. They cannot communicate to each other and there are no reflective surfaces on the island whatsoever. They also see each other during the day when they assist the scientist with daily tasks. The only way they can escape is if they ask the lab guard if they can leave at night. If they have green eyes, they can leave otherwise they will be force-poisoned the next morning by the scientist. All 100 have green eyes, but no-one knows this. The enraged world animal rights organization sends you to the island. The scientist lets you say one statement, but you cannot directly reveal the truth. Which statement will reveal the truth and not anger the scientist at the same time?

The first statement will anger the scientist and will send him into such a fury that he will kill both you and the pandas on the spot. The second statement is correct because one panda will ask to leave every night. The third statement will please the scientist but will result in you being sued by the animal rights organization and will land you in jail.
