Parallel

Algebra Level 1

Which of the following is the equation parallel to 2 x y = 5 2x-y=5 ?

You can try My Other Problems .

x 2 y = 5 x-2y=5 2 x + y = 5 2x+y=5 4 x 2 y = 10 4x-2y=10 6 x + 3 y = 5 6x+3y=5

3 solutions

4 x 2 y = 10 4x - 2y = 10

2 ( 2 x y ) = 2 ( 5 ) 2(2x-y) = 2(5)

2 x y = 5 2x-y = 5 . The final answer is 4 x 2 y = 10 4x - 2y = 10

Guess what? coincident lines are parallel too!

4x-2y=10=>2x-y=5, same slope

Technically it wouldn't be parallel, but the same line.

Although, on the contrary, two lines which are the same line are technically parallel.
