Since A B is parallel to C D and A B C D is a cyclic quadrilateral, it must be a trapezoid. Draw A F and B E be parallel to G H . Then A B E F is a rectangle and A B = E F . Since trapezoid A B C D is symmetrical about its central axis, C E = D F = 4 − 3 = 1 cm . Therefore, A B = E F = 6 − 2 = 4 cm and the red line A G = A B − G B = 4 − 3 = 1 cm .
