Chosing any 2 of the first set of parallel lines and any 2 of the next set of parallel lines will always form a parallelogram. Hence ( 9 C 2 ) ( 7 C 2 ) = (9C2)(7C2)= 756 \color{#D61F06}\boxed{756}
