Given two polynomials: P ( x ) = 4 x 3 − 2 x 2 − 15 x + 9 Q ( x ) = 12 x 3 + 6 x 2 − 7 x + 1 P(x)=4x^3-2x^2-15x+9 \\ Q(x)=12x^3+6x^2-7x+1 Let a a be the biggest root of P ( x ) P(x) and b be the biggest root of Q ( x ) Q(x) Find the value of a 2 + 3 b 2 + 2012 a^2+3b^2+2012 .


The answer is 2016.

I just gave it 2016 (title of this set)!!! I hope to take classes from you MS HT. Though I would be elementary level compared to you I think I can just pick up the pace! Waiting for a reply!
