Every row and column contain lines of each type.

The bottom two rows are the first two rows in reverse order. Only "d" completes it

50% or less than 100% for 2 x 2 or 3 : 1 or 1 : 3, no long horizontal, no long vertical, no slant parallel while 3 intersection of diagonals is all right or otherwise no better way. Sequence of getting rid: C, A and then B. D as an answer, while swapping its blocks above would make different rule to others. D is just the answer logically for good looks.

I was staring at it for a bit, trying to understand it, and then the following thought hit me; "Sudoku"! Then the answer become easy.

Each column is arranged in a way that each piece must come after the piece before it like ABCD BCDA CDAB DABC

each row and coloumn have 4 different boxes are arranged in different manner but each row has each box if we abserve clearly we can answer

I based it on: outer columns(1st column : 4th column); and
inner columns(2nd column : 3rd column)
First 2 boxes : Last 2 boxes
Last 2 boxes : First 2 boxes
