We know that:

$\frac{1}{7}=0.14285714.....$

$\frac{2}{7}=0.28571428.....$

$\frac{3}{7}=0.42857142.....$

and so on.

The above pattern follows:

$-\frac{1}{7},-\frac{2}{7},-\frac{3}{7},-\frac{4}{7},-\frac{5}{7},-\frac{6}{7},-\frac{7}{7}$

So, the $7^{th}$ term of the pattern is: $\frac{7}{7}=\boxed{1}$

The numbers are: $1/7, 2/7, 3/7, 4/7, 5/7$ and $6/7$ in that order.

Hence the next number is $7/7=1$
