it may solved by applying the relation .. $(n^{2} -n)$

so, $(6^{2}-6 = 36-6 = 30)$

But the first term must be zero .. you may have to think again ..

This is 1, 1 2, 2 3, 3 4, so on. 5 6=30.

Not formatted correctly. Should be $1 \times 2, 2 \times 3 ...$

I think you entered asterisks for the multiplication, which, instead, turned the letters into italics. :)
