There are 100 people in a room ,out of them 99% are managers .how many managers should go out of room to make it 98% managers in the room.

99-x/100-x = 98/100. When solving the equation we get that x is 50. Therefore 50 need to leave in order to make 98% managers in the room.

99% managers means 1% other employee so out of 100 ,1 is other employee

now later when 98% managers means 2% other employee through out the question other employees are constant.(that is count 1)

means 2% of total = 1

total =(1/2)*100=50

later 50 employee should be left in room means 50 managers will go out.
