5 6 : 2 3 = 5 6 : 4 6 = 5 : 4 \dfrac {5}{6}: \dfrac {2}{3} = \dfrac {5}{6}: \dfrac {4}{6} = 5:4

The second number is therefore less than the first by, 5 4 5 × 100 = 20 % \dfrac {5-4}{5} \times 100 = 20 \% _\square
