Pi vs Tau

Geometry Level 2

Pi and Tau were running a race, on different circles. Pi ran on a circle with a radius of Tau meters, while Tau ran on a circle with a radius of Pi meters. Who would complete one round of their respective circles first?

(Hint : Tau = 2 × \times Pi)

Note that they travel with same speed :)

Tau Pi It will be a tie

Tau = 2 × \times Pi and therefore it's a circle with a bigger circumference.

nuuu i thought this would be a trick question so i changed from the correct answer lol

Tau would complete the race first We were told that You runs around a circle with radius of π and pi runs round a circle with radius Tau(which is 2×π) We can estimate who finishes first by determining the diameters of their circle.Since Tau's circle is of radius π and diameter D=2R,therefore the diameter of Tau circle =2π,Also for Pi's circle diameter =2×(2π) which implies that Pi's circle is bigger has a larger circumference than Tau's circle and therefore means that Tau would complete the race first.
