Piecewise Integral

Calculus Level pending

B ( t ) B(t) and H ( t ) H(t) are time-varying quantities which are related to each other in the piecewise manner illustrated above. The transition point from one curve to another is ( B , H ) = ( 1 , 1 ) (B,H) = (1,1) .

Additionally, the following pieces of information are known:

t = 0 t = π H ( t ) d t = 4 B ( t ) = α sin ( t ) \large {\int_{t=0}^{t = \pi} H(t) \, dt = 4} \hspace{2cm} B(t) = \alpha \, \sin(t)

If α \alpha is a positive real number, determine the value of α \alpha to 3 decimal places.

The answer is 1.626.

@Steven Chase by seeing this solution I can say the 19th alphabet of English is integration.
By the way, why do you live, reply, talk, so secretly and in a very different way. ???
