Since a quarter is 25 25 cents, a dime is 10 10 , and a nickel is 5 5 , he has 25 + 2 ( 10 ) + 5 = 50 25+2(10)+5=50 cents. Since 50 200 \frac{50}{200} = = 25 100 \frac{25}{100} , the pigeon finds 25 % 25\% of 2 2 dollars. I will be posting problem 2 2 tomorrow!
