Since a quarter is 2 5 cents, a dime is 1 0 , and a nickel is 5 , he has 2 5 + 2 ( 1 0 ) + 5 = 5 0 cents. Since 2 0 0 5 0 = 1 0 0 2 5 , the pigeon finds 2 5 % of 2 dollars. I will be posting problem 2 tomorrow!
