A pigeon finds $1$ quarter, $2$ dimes, and $1$ nickel on the ground. What percent of $2$ dollars did he find?

The answer is 57.

Since a quarter is $25$ cents, a dime is $10$ , and a nickel is $5$ , he has $25+2(10)+5=50$ cents. Since $\frac{50}{200}$ $=$ $\frac{25}{100}$ , the pigeon finds $25\%$ of $2$ dollars. I will be posting problem $2$ tomorrow!
