f ( n ) = 1 2 ( n 2 + n + 2 ) = 1 2 ( 4 2 + 4 + 2 ) = 1 2 ( 22 ) = f(n)=\dfrac{1}{2}(n^2+n+2)=\dfrac{1}{2}(4^2+4+2)=\dfrac{1}{2}(22)= 11 \boxed{11}
