Placing squares on a grid - Part 2

On a 3 by 3 grid, 4 2 by 2 squares were placed. In what order were they placed?

If you think the order is 1, 2, 3, 4, then type your answer as 1234. The first square should would be the bottom-most

I like seeing it in reverse, since it makes it really clear that the last is 3, then 2, then 1, then 4.

this question missing some rule, why not make it 4321?

Because 4321 would end with 1 being the largest square, which it is not. Take 4 piece of paper and do it.
