When we see an Icosahedron such that one of its vertices line up with our eyes then we see a Pentagon on its surface which is formed by the five vertices, as can be seen in the figure below.

How many such Pentagons are present in an Icosahedron?

Each vertex has a corresponding pentagon, and an icosahedron has 12 \boxed{12} vertices.
