Number Theory Level 2

Nancy loves playing video games. She can play on Saturday and Sunday, for two hours each day. In February, she gets grounded from playing for one day. Another time, in the same month, she only plays for an hour on Sunday. How many hours in total did she play in February?

Note: It is not a leap year, and February started on Saturday.


The answer is 13.

There is a total of 8 days and hence the total number of hours is 16. In that, she is grounded not to play for a day and hence 2 hours left. so the remaining is 14 hours. And, she didn't play an hour and hence it is 13......

if the month of feb is starting with saturday thn there will be 9 day so total 18 hours out of which she was grounded for 1 day dat means 2 hour less so remaining 16 hours .and one day she has played 1 hour dat means total 15 hours she played ....how ur come to be 13??

Only 8 days in february. minus 1 day for grounding and minus 1 hour for playing. 8x2 = 16 - 2 - 1 = 13
