at the point c the pressure of water is maximum the velocity of water increases with the increase of pressure. so at c the velocity is maximum..........

Actually, its D, as its potential energy gets transformed into kinetic energy, thus adding up speed with that of at C.

By the law of volume flux or equation of continuity: Av = constant. Where A = area v = velocity of fluid Hence v is greater for smaller area.
